We had a blast during our last East Meets West II photography workshop last Saturday. My husband Anthony and good friend and awesome photographer Betty Wiley did an awesome job before and during our photo shoot.
We had the best participants any one could ask for, which made it a stupendous and memorable event. The owners of the arena, the riders and horses were fabulous as well. Thanks so much to everyone for the participation, enthusiasm and for a fun filled day.
For the images in this post I decided to digitally enhanced them in order to give them a creative artistic feel and look. I wanted to create a more painterly effect to the photographs I captured during our photo shoot.
I employed various French Kiss Textures employing different blend modes in Adobe Photoshop CS6 and applying layer mask in order to remove the effect in certain areas of the images. For the “Kicking Up Some Dirt” image I added a frame from OnOne Photo Frame. In order to allow the texture to come thru the photo frame I added a layer mask to conceal the frames original color.

Some of my images are available for purchase as Fine Art Prints at my Artist Website.
