Lonaconing Silk Mill Photo Meetup

We will have another opportunity to photograph the last standing Silk Mill in the USA, on Sunday, April 6th, 2014 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. Depending on the weather, we will be able to photograph the exterior prior and/or after photographing the Silk Mill’s 3 floors interior.
We are limiting the number of sign up’s in order to be able to afford the participants with the best possible shooting conditions.
This will be the usual well organized photography workshop, in which the groups will be divided among the 3 of the begging to be photograph floors in the Silk Mill.
The Silk Mill is an excellent venue for HDR (high dynamic range) Photography as well as for single exposures, details and set-up shots.
Beginners requiring special attention and instruction will have professional instructors available to assist them, in order for them to not only capture the essence of the Silk Mill, but to learn and use the same techniques in photo opportunities they may have in the future.
The advanced and pros will appreciate the small group setting with a class of their own in order to capitalize on the shooting opportunities at the Mill.
The cost of the photography workshop is $150 which includes the per person cost to the owner for the individual access to photograph the Silk Mill. These funds help conserve and make eminent repairs to the structure.
