Photographed in the summer of 2012 during a severe thunderstorm from Weehawken, NJ.
I used my full frame Canon EOS 5-D MIII along with my Canon 24-70mm lens.
I also used the Lightning Bug from MK Controls to trigger the camera.
I highly recommend the use of the trigger if you want to increase you number of keepers when photographing lightning strikes.
