I was able to get to Washington DC to photograph during the peak of the Cherry Blossom Festival. The temperatures where higher than normal and needles to say it was packed with people. Many of the monuments are still undergoing restorations due to the damage caused by the earthquake in 2011, I still managed to photograph many of the places I had on my list.
