Christmas In New York City

Rockefeller Center’s lower plaza with the iconic adorned and illuminated Christmas tree, the ice skating rink along with the bronze sculpture of Prometheus. Rockefeller Center is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan in New York City.

You can’t help but get in the spirit during the holidays when visiting New York City. I usually try to wait to the beginning of the New Year before going to photograph and prior to the Christmas Tree being taken down. Although New York City is coined the “City That Never Sleeps”, I find it to be less crowded at this time.

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral looks magnificent with all the Poinsettia flowers decorating the interior of the iconic Cathedral.
