Branch Brook Park, Essex County, New Jersey
Perhaps because of what seems to be a long winter for us that reside in the North East part of the United States, when the first signs of spring arrive it is a very exciting time for most of us.
For me, as a photographer who likes to capture diversity in my images, I welcome Spring with a lot of enthusiasm.
I do like the winter scenes, but it’s a nice feeling to lose the layers of clothes that keep us warm and see the new beginnings in nature when spring rolls around.
Last weekend Branch Brook Park in the northward section of Newark, NJ held the 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival. The Cherry Blossom trees where in full bloom and it was a sight to behold.
A little fact unknown to many is that the Garden State of New Jersey has more Cherry Blossom trees that in the capital of our nation in Washington DC.
Sadly the beautiful pink petals don’t grace us for a very long time before converting themselves into natures after party confetti all around.
