Mother nature gave us a break in the weather yesterday for some great photo ops of the Super Moon rising over the New York City Skyline. I was in Weehawken, New Jersey in the company of Betty Willey after returning from a long but super fun day photographing all over NYC.
Aside from us, as you would expect there where a number of very nice and friendly photographers including Katrin Eismann, which many know well as one of the gals from NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Users) The good ambiance made time go by quickly as we all waited for the rising of the Super Moon over Manhattan.
The moon rose a bit to the left of 42nd Street at 9:00 pm. We got to see the first glance of it’s rising from our view point a few minutes later right over 42nd Street which made it even more spectacular to watch and even better to photograph.
Both of my images in this post are composed of three exposures tone-mapped using Unified’s HDR Express and further enhanced using Topaz Adjust 5.
